Background

Cole Collective, a woman-owned and operated experiential network of freelancers, was established in 2021 and specializes in producing events of all sorts, with a clear knack for executing successful brand activations. While initial branding efforts had laid a solid foundation of compelling colors and core concepts, the collective sought a refresh in order to refine certain visual elements, embracing their Western aesthetic even further.

The primary focus of refinement was the central logomark (affectionately named 'Nicole' after the company's namesake and owner's middle name), depicts a woman adorned in Western attire, holding aloft a large flag.

Nicole serves as a visual representation of the collective's unwavering dedication to excellence in every endeavor. Beyond this, there was a mutual enthusiasm to explore an expanded array of logotype and illustration variations, conceived as semi-modular elements for versatile application.  

The new identity was meticulously honed before delving into its adaptation across various merchandise items and the development of flexible website and presentation templates, laying the groundwork for future expansion and evolution.
